Traveling without knowing Japanese - how can you still have fun with the girls? For foreigners in Japan, the biggest obstacle to doing many things is the language barrier. If you don't speak Japanese and want to have some fun, I'd suggest avoiding activities that require heavy Japanese communication. Places like nightclubs, lounges, and girl bars are honestly pointless - it's just going through the motions. I'm sure when you're traveling, that's not really what you're after anyway. But if your goal is to have more "intimate" contact with Japanese girls, Japan's most traditional and famous soaplands are the most direct and convenient option. I think any of you guys who've tried soaplands would agree that Japan is incredible - they can package this into such a high-class erotic experience that once you've tried it, you keep wanting to go back every so often. More and more soaplands are accepting foreigners these days, but if you're not familiar with the scene, not only will you end up paying higher prices, but there's also a good chance you'll get stuck with something terrible. It's the same old story - when you're traveling and having fun, paying a bit more sometimes doesn't matter. But paying extra and getting crap service? That's the absolute worst. I've been burned so many times myself, even had situations where I paid up front and they didn't want the money back - they just wanted me gone (I'll share those stories later).
