When Doing Business with Japanese People, You'll Almost Always End Up at a Hostess Club
For my business friends - where do you usually hold meetings? When doing business with Japanese clients, it's basically always at hostess clubs... but since many clubs don't allow foreigners in, it gets really frustrating. Have you ever dealt with Japanese establishments that don't serve foreigners?
I wonder where my business friends usually go for meetings?
If you're doing business with Japanese people, basically all business discussions happen at hostess clubs... but since many hostess clubs don't allow foreigners in... it's always such a hassle...
Have you guys ever run into many Japanese establishments that don't serve foreigners?
I asked some Japanese girls whether they prefer foreign customers or local clients, and surprisingly most of them said foreigners make them much happier! 🤩
Using my limited Japanese, I pressed them for reasons, and their answers were pretty interesting:
1. Local guys sometimes grab their hair way too hard
2. Serving foreign customers means they don't have to talk as much, so they receive less negative emotional baggage.
3. Hong Kong guys are better looking 😆🤣
When you think about it, it makes sense - foreign tourists come to have fun and are usually in a good mood, while Japanese salarymen sometimes come to bars after work looking for someone to vent to. With different mindsets like that, naturally the girls would rather choose the happy customers! ❣️
